I cannot believe I have not mentioned this place yet! I had promised to take the lovely Abi for some pretty special cake whilst she was in London for the weekend and one of the first places that came to mind was Drink Shop Do. This amazing place, tucked away in Kings Cross, is the perfect spot for pretty much any occasion. Whether you are looking for a bit of tea and cake, or some pretty strong cocktails, with cake, DSD has it all! They offer a variety of yummy savoury foods for lunch and also have activities going on all the time like building lego robots, inappropriate valentines card making sessions or diva biscuit decorating! HOWEVER, we are here about the cake! SO…
This amazing slice was a passion fruit, mango and coconut cake! I mean come on! This was truly incredible and amazingly not sickly either! I adore DSD’s cakes because they really do have an awesome selection made with a huge variety of ingredients and the flavours really do come through, plus they are not shy with their portion sizes either. WIN!
A few more examples … pineapple, pumpkin and coconut cake and a salted caramel baked cheesecake! I don’t think I need to say much more!
Stuff, things, bits and pieces!
More of a lycra fix, this time from Boohoo.com. Some of the stuff is maybe a little much for me but I do really like the shape of this sports bra and it’s a bargin at £12.00. Probably not one of running long but perfect for time in the gym!
