So if you didn’t already know this month I have been taking part in a little thing called Advent Running.
Explained by the creators themselves…
“Advent Running is a free and simple run challenge that aims to keep people running throughout the month of December. The aim is to run for a minimum of 30 minutes a day, every day, between the 1st and the 25th of December.”
Led by the incredibly inspiring James Poole and Claudia Schroegel so far this challenge has a great thing to be a part of! The facebook page is filled with images from people all over the world out doing their bit, creating a global community of runners supporting each other through the decadent month that is December. A month where is it more tempting to snuggle on the sofa rather than go out in the freezing cold!
And if all the support around the world is not enough there is also a daily spot prize for the best photo, video or written description!
My photo for Day 4 actually won the spot prize grabbing me a subscription to Athletics Weekly! YIPPEE!
So as I am over half way through I thought I would share some of my favourite moments of this challenge so far …
Advent Running is offering a variety of free events up until the 25th so if you would like to get involved head over to any of the below links for more information!
