No running, just CAKE – SCOOP

Posted on

So this week the lovely ladies, Lissy, Harry and I decided to head out for the evening.  No sports wear … though we were wearing trainers, no energy gels in sight and wine was the first thing on the agenda!

After a gorgeous meal at Pizza Express (yes I said gorgeous try their new sweet potato based pizzas!) we were now on the hunt for dessert!  Now as runners in the later stages of training #RUNger is an understatement so we weren’t looking for a little bit of cake we wanted FULL ON, DECADENT cake …

SCOOP did not disappoint!

Address: 53 Brewer Street, W1F 9UJ London

Good for: Gelato and Cake!

I don’t think I need to say much here … the pictures speak for themselves!!

Lissy went for the brownie with ice cream and cream …. it was definite fudgey goodness … and yes she did have it warmed!!  This girl knows what’s good!

It was a tricky choice for me … but I opted for the carrot cake with Torroncino (hazelnut nougat!!) flavoured ice cream … it was inhaled in seconds!

Harry went for the Red Velvet … FOOD ENVY right there … the cream cheese frosting had definite hints of white chocolate in there … WOW!

They also do pretty amazing looking crepes, cheesecakes, muffins and lemon drizzle cake … which gave Harry serious problems when having to decide what to have! It did look amazing!

The best thing is that this place is open til 23:00 during the week! Late night cake date!!!
